Question: Do you know what’s better than Reese’s Peanut butter cups?
Answer: These blondies!!!
My girlfriend’s daughter, Cameron, had asked me to make her some cookies last week. She loves my chocolate chip cookies that I had baked for her last time because every kid loves something gooey and delicious. But I had something else in mind to bake up for her since I knew she was a big fan of Reese’s peanut butter cups. I found my recipe for Peanut Butter Blondies and brought everything over to my girlfriend’s house to bake them up. Of course, Cameron helped me out, and mixed and sampled all the sweet goods. We had to improvise on the butter/oil since there was none in my girlfriend’s pantry, and substituted applesauce. It just made for a lower calorie blondie, but still gooey and delicious.
Trader Joe’s has these wonderful little tubs of mini reese’s peanut butter cups, little knubs of heaven. If you left this open with little children around, the container would be empty within seconds! Enjoy the peanut butter blondies for yourself, and you’ll be hungry for more.
